Shaolin kid arises …

Kiefer’s first hair-cut:  When I got home from work (October 4), my eldest kid Julia was motioning something about her hair … Shaolin_no_hair_5 that it’s gone.  I cant understand it from the start but then i remembered that Kiefer’s supposed to have his hair shaved after his birthday but since he got sick, my mom decided not to do it yet.  Then when I got what she’s trying to tell me, I asked where he is and yes, the shaolin kid was reborn.  Hehehe!  I cant shout or laugh because he was sleeping at that time.  I still could not get over it because he looks so different.  But he still looks soooo cute of course.  Then we taught him something.  Whenever we would say "no more hair", he would touch his head.  Now we just have to wait if my mom’s theory is right …

Kiefer’s measles

100_0336 I just like to document this … cute kse pero nakakaawa si kiefer.  Last September 26 was his first birthday.  We didnt have that much handa … just prepared some things kse he wont be able to remember naman kung sobrang en grande on his first birthday.

But when we were about to start the celebration, biglang nagka fever.  We thought viral lang but it lasted for 2 days so my mom decided to bring him to the manghihilot and sure enough, meron syang "bali".  But still the fever didn’t disappear, on and off pa rin.  Then on the 5th day of his fever, my mom texted me while i was at work saying na "may tigdas si kiefer, lumabas na lahat ngayon".  Grabe!  I called up my mom agad but she assured me it’s ok na since the reason why pala kiefer was running high with fever was because of that.  We thought that the red marks on his face were just insect bites, un pala start na ng measles nya.  When I got home, hahahah! Nakakatawa na nakakaawa.  His face was red all over, going down to his neck and chest, tummy and back.  And that was last September 30.  Now, he’s ok … the "spots" are almost gone, some parts na lang. I dunno what happened to his anti-measles shot though.  But i’m glad he’s fine now and he didnt have a hard time dealing with that.  He’s still the makulit and sobrang likot na baby that he is.

Someone Like You

It’s the title of a movie starring Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd.  Basically it’s finding someone who you’ve been ignoring all the time but ends up being the right one.  This is a very nice romantic-comedy movie … although the person who introduced to me the movie is a horrible person.  Hehehe!  He’s actually one of the cows (as you will know what it means later on). The girl in the movie, Jane, is clueless on why her still-engaged-to-another-girl BF Ray dumped her.  Then to top it all, she has no choice but to live with her casual sex-fiend officemate Eddie.  This is when she came up with the "old cow/new cow theory" that men, just like cows (or bull) would mate with cow then he simply dumps her and move on to the next cow.  If you’re thinking that bulls can be mislead by bringing in the same cow but just disguising her "scent", you cant fool the darn bull.  Hehehe!  But in the end, Jane found out that the man for her was just under her nose, Eddie, who happens to be an emotional cripple to a T, all the while seething with a bad-boy sexuality and inner sweetness.

I guess what im trying to say is that it will not only take one person for us to find who’s really for us.  Those people that we thought would complete us are just plain craps.  We might be ignoring that one person who’s destined to take care of us. I dunno if I’ve been guilty of that.  But I wish I would find my Eddie soon … Ü
