Twas all fun

Just a few weeks ago, I went out with four of my high school friends. Actually, elementary friends pa pala. Jean just got home from the US and eversince we graduated from high school, we havent had any communication until recently when our high school batch started having a yahoogroup and I was able to get Jean’s email add and from there, we started getting in touch again. Back then, there were 4, well actually it’s supposed to be 5 of us, who were sort of close to each other … Lisa, Jean, Joseph, Neil and me. Of course we have other friends aside from ourselves but we have a different kind of "world". It was fun then … trying to recall all the naughty things we did. Imagine, making a teacher cry because she was told to go back to dadiangas (her province), putting stinky, smelly leaves on the teacher’s chair, and not to mention trying to get out of school thru the school’s concrete gates coz the guard wont let us out. Now, that was fun. There was also a time that we were so not praying the "Our Father" right that our religion teacher branded us as "pagans" and she covered our religious sayings on the posters inside our room. Then when we’re late in getting inline to enter the rooms, we would hide from the nuns so that they will not notice that we’re late. Those were the days. I guess when you’re really friends, no matter how old you grow, you would make sure that you still know how you’re doing and get in touch as much as possible. That is when you will know that friends are there always, no matter what. Twas all fun …
